The Trailblazer's of Ohio Christian University won one and lost one over the weekend. The Trailblazer's now 5 and 2 traveled to Phoenixville PA this weekend to take on last year's national runner up Valley Forge Christian University on Friday. The team came out flat and slow against a quick and hard pressing Valley Forge. "We could not get up to game speed says Coach Christopher. I don't know if it was the long trip or what but we needed to come out with a lot more energy." The trailblazers went into the locker room at half time down by 17 points. "We pressed and scraped to try and get back into the game but the closest we got was 8." The final score was 77 to 87. On Saturday the team looked much better against Davis College defeating them 85 to 66. The team came out shooting and rebounding well. Stand out blazers included Senior Stefan Vasiloff, shooting 7 for 10 from the field for 19 points, 5 rebounds and 2 steals. Blazer forward Jeremy Hays had 7 points, 10 rebounds and 2 steals. Sophomore guard Michael Farrell shot 7 for 9 from the field for 16 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists. The Trailblazers travel to Hillsboro, Ohio on Tuesday to take on Southern State before taking a couple of days off for Thanksgiving.
