4-0 Shutout Win Over Crown Extends Region Streak to 33

CIRCLEVILLE, OH - Ohio Christian hosted Mid-East Region rival, Crown College, from Powell, Tennessee on Saturday as part of the OCU Homecoming festivities.  The Blazers did not disappoint the homecoming crowd as they came away with a 4-0 shutout victory at home.

The win is the 4th straight for OCU who now finds themselves with a winning record at 6-5 on the season.  The win was also the 33rd straight Mid-East Region victory for OCU who has dominated the region for the last 3 years.

"The guys are really coming together," commented Head Coach Josh Murton. "They are starting to see what playing as a team looks like and I feel like this program is really turning a corner to an even brighter future. The guys right now are making that happen and I am pleased to see how the are buying into the process."

The 4th ranked Blazers are back in action on Tuesday when they host NAIA affiliate Asbury University.  Asbury defeated OCU last season by one goal in a closely contested match in Wilmore, Kentucky.
