Men's Soccer Claims 4th Place at NCCAA Nationals

KISSIMMEE, FL-The OCU men's soccer program finished in 4th place at the NCCAA National Soccer Championships.

OCU advanced to the Final Four after picking up a win over Providence College on Day 1, winning 4-2 on penalty kicks.

OCU came up short on Thursday against #2 seed Northland International.  Northland came away with the 8-0 victory to advance to the National Championship Game.

The Blazers finished off the tournament with a dramatic contest against Manhattan Christian College.  OCU took a 1-0 lead in the first half but Manhattan worked to tie the game at 1-1 and force overtime.  The match then went to penalty kicks where Manhattan pulled out the win.

This was the 4th straight NCCAA National Tournament appearance for OCU Men's Soccer.  Congratulations to Coach Josh Murton and his seniors on another spectacular season.
