BIOGRAPHY

Gerald Mershimer is a pastor-teacher, who simply wants to live the gospel, preach the gospel, and help others to do the same. His relational approach to preaching and teaching was shaped by the example of his late father, whose ministry emerged out of great personal suffering and was expressed in authentic Christian love, through preaching, mentoring, and service. He was also greatly influenced by the powerful ministry of his mother, who consistently demonstrated the love of Jesus and creative approaches to teaching. He believes that everything he teaches in the classroom relates to everyday life in our hurting world, and finds its most fruitful expression in the local church that is globally engaged.
