SCHOLARS DAY 2025
Ohio Christian University will be awarding three full-tuition scholarships to first-time freshman!
Apply to win the Commitment to Excellence full-tuition scholarship.
All applications and materials are due by January 17,2025. In addition to submitting your Scholars Day application, you must:
- Be an accepted applicant to the Undergraduate On-Campus Program
- Meet two of the three following criteria
- 25 ACT/1210 SAT or higher
- 3.5 GPA or higher (must maintain a 3.5 college GPA to keep the scholarship)
- Top 15% class ranking
- 2 letters of recommendation (must be 1 academic recommendation and 1 personal recommendation)
- A 1,500 word essay with the following prompt:
Describe a problem you've solved or a problem you'd like to solve. It can be an intellectual challenge, a research query, an ethical dilemma-anything that is of personal importance, no matter the scale. Explain its significance to you and what steps you took or could take to identify a solution. - Attend our Scholars Day event on Saturday, January 25th
What is being offered:
- We will offer 3 full tuition scholarships (does not include room and board) to 3 first-time freshman enrolling in Fall 2025.
Ohio Christian University Scholars Day is an annual event for our highest achieving applicants. This day provides an opportunity to compete for the Commitment to Excellence Full-Tuition Scholarship - which will be awarded to three students!
During the OCU Scholars Day, students will have the opportunity to compete for the scholarships through two separate interviews.
In order to register for OCU Scholars Day you must:
- Apply Now to Ohio Christian University's Undergraduate On-Campus Program for the Fall 2025 Semester.
- Apply Now for the Commitment to Excellence and turn in all supporting materials. All scholarship applications and supporting materials are due by January 17, 2025.
- Once the Admissions Office receives and reviews your scholarship application, you will be invited to formally register for Scholars Day. The event is taking place on Saturday, January 25th, 2025
Participation in Scholars Day grants automatic acceptance into OCU’s Honors program.
Finalists may have a separate interview at a later date before being offered a scholarship. Winners will be announced February 7th, 2025.
