SCHOLARS DAY 2023
Ohio Christian University's full-tuition will be awarded to three students!
Apply to win the Commitment to Excellence full-tuition scholarship.
Criteria to compete in Scholars Day:
- 25 ACT/1210 SAT or higher
- 3.5 GPA or higher (must maintain a 3.5 college GPA to keep the scholarship)
- Accepted applicant to the OCU Trad program
- 2 letters of recommendation (must be 1 academic recommendation and 1 personal recommendation)
- A 1,500 word essay with the following prompt:
Describe a problem you've solved or a problem you'd like to solve. It can be an intellectual challenge, a research query, an ethical dilemma-anything that is of personal importance, no matter the scale. Explain its significance to you and what steps you took or could take to identify a solution.
What is being offered:
- We will offer 3 full tuition scholarships (does not include room and board)
Ohio Christian University Scholars Day is an annual event for our highest achieving applicants. This day provides an opportunity to compete for the Commitment to Excellence Full-Tuition Scholarship - which will be awarded to three students!
During the OCU Scholars Day, students will have the opportunity to compete for the scholarships through two separate interviews.
In order to register for OCU Scholars Day you must:
- Apply Now to Ohio Christian University's Campus Undergraduate Program (Weekday Classes on Campus) for the Fall 2024 Semester.
- Apply Now for the Commitment to Excellence and turn in all supporting materials. All scholarship applications and supporting materials are due by November 10, 2023.
- Once the Admissions Office receives and reviews your scholarship application, you will be invited to formally register for Scholars Day. The event is taking place on Saturday, November 18th, 2023
Participation in Scholars Day grants automatic acceptance into OCU’s Honors program.
Finalists may have a separate interview at a later date before being offered a scholarship. Winners will be announced December 8th, 2023.

- 25 ACT or higher
- 3.5 GPA or higher
- Accepted applicant to the OCU 2023 on campus program
- 2 letters of recommendation
- A 1,500 word essay
- Attend Scholar's Day & interview with the Deans of each School!
