Early Circleville’s streets formed concentric circles that led to its nickname "Round Town.” Today, the town is renowned for its Pumpkin Show every October on the third Wednesday through Saturday, the sixth-largest agricultural exhibit and street fair nationwide. The celebration attracts over 300,000 visitors who enjoy pumpkin contests, parades, entertainment, and every sort of delectable from pumpkin burgers to candy, donuts, drinks, pies, and pizza.
