Mark it down on your calendars.  OCU Soccer Alumni are asked to come and play on October 2nd at 10:00am against the newly formed OCU JV team.  Last year was such a good turnout that we are adding to the alumni event that day.  Our schedule is:

Rodney Sones to Direct Community Choir during City and County Bicentennial Celebration

As part of the city and county bicentennial celebration, Dr. Rodney Sones, director of the OCU Chorale and Chamber Singers, has been invited to conduct the Circleville Community Choir in a performance of the Joseph Martin musical Of Faith and Freedom. The venue will be the West Main platform, on Tuesday, October 19 at 6 PM, just before the bicentennial parade, at 7:00.

OCU Women Soccer Show Improvement

On Labor Day the OCU women soccer program began to regroup and move forward.  Playing a much improved Atlanta Christian College, whom OCU lost to last year 0-1, the ladies started down early in the contest 0-1 only to come back off a beautiful display of possession soccer between Sarah Peters, Liesi South and finished by freshman Heidi Bryan who scored her second goal of the season.&n

Lady Trailblazers Win Season Opener

OCU defeated the Southern State Community College Patriots 25-7, 25-21, 25-17.

The 2010 season opener and first OCAC conference match pitted Ohio Christian University versus Southern State Community College.

Linette Shetler led the team with 10 kills on 67% hitting percentage and tallied 4 aces. OCU's libero, Tiffany Mosher, led OCU defensively with 14 digs.

Golf Program Signs Membership with Local Course

Ohio Christian University is excited to announce that this will be the first year their golf program will have the opportunity to compete as a varsity sport representing the school.  The most crucial stride in accomplishing this goal is the membership agreement between the golf program and Cooks Creek Golf Course.

OCU Signs First Golf Recruit, Josh Moore

The golf program signed its first ever competitive recruit, Josh Moore on August 25, 2010.  Josh is a graduate of Western Brown High School and comes to Ohio Christian University as an Interdisciplinary Studies major.  Josh hopes to work towards completing his bachelor's degree in order to become a certified high school teacher.
