OCU’s Drama Team and Performing Arts Committee are excited to announce the Fall 2023 play production of The Great Gatsby and the Spring 2024 musical production of The Phantom of the Opera.

On Nov. 10th and 11th, experience the height of the Roaring Twenties with The Great Gatsby. Watch these larger-than-life characters from one of the greatest American novels as Nick Carraway narrates his time with the Great Gatsby. Find out if the past can truly be repeated and how far a dream can take you!

On April 12th and 13th, witness the masterpiece that recently left the Broadway stage, The Phantom of the Opera. Young Christine Daae is caught between her devotion to the Phantom as her ghostly opera teacher and her childhood love, Raul. The Phantom’s undying love for Christine and her voice will test all limits and lead them past the point of no return.

Auditions for both productions will be open to all current students of any cohort, faculty, staff, alumni and friends of OCU! Please note that casting decisions will initially be made in favor of current students but are still open to non-students, especially if the demands of the role require it.
