Every student’s journey is unique, and your financial aid package will reflect that. Scholarships for freshmen and transfers are reviewed individually so we can create a package that celebrates your achievements and supports your goals as you begin your college experience at OCU.
**Students must be enrolled in at least 12 credits per semester to receive institutional scholarships**
Fall 2026 – Spring 2027 Freshmen Merit Scholarships

Fall 2026 - Spring 2027 Scholarships
The CCCU Ministry Scholarship is up to $5,000 per year. It is an annual and renewable scholarship to students who are a dependent of a missionary or pastor in the CCCU. Documentation Required. Not stackable with the Trailblazer Ministry Scholarship. The Chorale & Drama Team Scholarship is up to $2,000 per year awarded to students joining chorale or drama team, based on the student’s audition. Email enroll@ohiochristian.edu to setup an audition. The Church Matching Grant is $1,000 per year. OCU will match church contributions toward a student’s education, up to $500 per semester/$1,000 per year. The Church Matching Grant form needs to be filled out. The Early Admit Scholarship is $1,000 per year. It is a renewable scholarship for students who have successfully completed 6+ credits with a 3.0+ GPA through OCU’s Trailblazer Academy prior to high school graduation. The Gideon Robinette Memorial Scholarship is $1,000 per year. It is a renewable scholarship awarded to up to 2 Trailblazer Academy students per school year, who apply, complete at least 6 dual enrollment credit hours with a 3.0+ GPA and enroll in the School of Ministry and Theology, Circleville campus, upon high school graduation. The Honors Scholarship is $2,000 per year and is renewable. Recipient must have been admitted into OCU’s Honors program. The International Student Scholarship is $3,000 per year. It is a renewable scholarship for students who do not have U.S. citizenship, reside full-time in a country other than the United States and who entered the U.S. on an F-1 student visa. Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA for renewal. The Military Discount is $1,000 per year. It is awarded to military members or students who are dependents of military members and veterans. Dependents must be 23 years old or younger. Documentation required. The OCU Service Scholarship is up to $1,000 for the first year, and it is not renewable. Students must be admitted to OCU and fill out the OCU Service scholarship application detailing exceptional leadership and service. The Trailblazer Family Award is $500 or more a year. This annual renewable scholarship is awarded to eligible dependent students when siblings attend OCU’s Circleville Campus at the same time or to an eligible dependent child of an OCU alumnus or alumna. Eligibility is determined in accordance with University financial aid policy. The Trailblazer Ministry Award is up to $1,000 per year, and it is renewable. Students who are a dependent of a missionary or pastor. Documentation is required. Not stackable with the CCCU Ministry Scholarship. The Transfer Student Scholarship is $1,000 per year, and it is renewable. It is awarded to students transferring to OCU from another college or university. Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA to renew the scholarship. The Visit Grant is a $1,000 one-time, non-renewable scholarship. The student is eligible if they participated in an individual campus visit (not Preview Day) and was admitted to OCU between July 1 and January 31 of each fiscal year. The Visit Scholarship is a $500 one-time, non-renewable scholarship awarded to high school seniors attending a Preview Day or individual visit for the first time from February 1 to May 1 (repeat visits are not allowed). The We Are One Scholarship is $9,000 per year. It is a non-stackable annual and renewable scholarship for students affiliated with the CCCU denomination. The Worship Collective Scholarship is up to $4,000 per year, awarded to students who, upon audition, are chosen to be part of OCU’s Worship Collective; amount dependent on student’s level of involvement.
