On Monday December 4th, The Ohio Christian University School of Arts and Sciences hosted a book release reception honoring President Ronald E. Smith for the recent publication of his book entitled Henry Clay Morrison: Remember the Old Paths. Professor Emeritus Dr. David A. Case introduced the book and author, and Dr. Smith delivered a lecture on the significance of his work in the context of American intellectual history and Dr. Morrison’s relevance to future work in American religious history. The reception concluded with a Q & A session.
Many thanks to President Smith for his dedication to scholarship, and for this significant contribution to a crucial field of study. American Christianity stands at a crossroads, and its future may well depend on our understanding, or lack thereof, of our faith inheritance.
